In a world where advertising hyperbole regularly makes unsubstantiated claims for loudspeaker accuracy, the SC-VI offers incontestable proof of what today’s best technology has to offer. Indeed, the SC-VI presently has no equal or peer in the marketplace regardless of price. It is a benchmark product by which all other speakers will be judged.

The SC-VI incorporates several important and meaningful advances in technology, features, and performance that cannot be found in any other loudspeaker, save the other Dunlavy Audio Labs models. For example, the impulse, step, and squarewave responses of the SC-VI (critical performance parameters that correlate with perceived musical realism) are equal to or better than those associated with the most expensive, top of the line CD players and D/A processors. It’s high efficiency, coupled with a very flat and largely resistive input impedance, means that the SC-VI can be easily driven with most high quality power amplifiers possessing a power rating of only 100 watts per channel or more.

With four 15" woofer drivers, four 8" bass drivers, four 5" mid-range drivers, and two 1" dome tweeters, the SC-VI speaker system is capable of reproducing every recorded note with stunning realism and accuracy. Bass frequencies are thunderous and fast, unmatched in visceral impact. With the SC-VI, you not only hear the bass, you feel it. The mids and highs are clean, quick, and effortless, and are perfectly integrated with the bottom end.
