NOTE ! Setup File includes DSPXO Firmware Version 180403.1118. See below for updated firmware.

IMPORTANT ! For WIndows XP or Vista installation, do not run the FTDI setup program when prompted. These drivers will have to be installed manually from the Device Manager and are automatically installed in the following directory on your computer:-

C:\Program Files\Analog-Precision\Ultimate-Preamplifier\USB Driver\Win XP-Vista

Amanero Combo USB-2 Audio Driver Installation for Windows

If your Ultimate-Preamplifier comes with the Amanero Combo USB-2 Audio Device installed then you will need to install the drivers for Windows to take advantage of all of the features that this board offers. These drivers can be downloaded from the Amanero site https://amanero.com/drivers.htm.

Audio Weaver Download

You can download the Standard Edition of Audio Weaver from the DSP Concepts website but you need to register first. To use Audio Weaver after installing it we have to setup an account for you which will enable it using the mail address that you used to register it as your user name.

Audioweaver Scripts Description Channel Assignments
8-Channel Stereo Pass through

This script is used for testing the DAC's and directly passes audio data from the left channel to the all of the odd channels (Ch 1,3,5,7) and from the right channel to the all of the even channels (Ch 2,4,6,8).

WARNING ! It is recommended not to have speakers connected when using this mode otherwise it may cause damage to the upper range drivers if they are driven with wide band or low frequency content.

This script uses Audio-Weaver's built in High-Performance Linkwitz-Riley crossover module to implement a stereo 2-way crosover. Crossover Levels and frequencies can be customized to arbitrary values. Crossover slopes can be adjusted from 1st to 10th order slopes.
